Man's Wife Sets Fire To His Harley In Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) ―

A Tennessee woman is charged with arson in a Maryland resort town after setting her husband's Harley Davidson motorcycle on fire.

Ocean City police say officers went to the 100 block of 7th Street Saturday night. Police found 40-year-old Joseph Waskey using a water hose to put out a fire consuming his Harley Davidson.

Deputy State Fire Marshal's Office investigators came to the scene.

Investigators discovered the fire was deliberately set and charged 43-year-old Barbara Waskey, of Rogersville, Tenn., with arson.

Police say she stuffed a towel in the motorcycle's gas tank before lighting the towel on fire. Investigators found the motorcycle's gas cap in the woman's car.
