Man Charged In Slaying At Perryville Motel

PERRYVILLE, Md. (AP) ― Maryland State Police homicide investigators have charged a man with the murder of a Cecil County woman in Perryville.

Police say Krsna Johnson, 25, shot and killed Kimberly Cain, 22, at the Relax Inn on U.S. Route 40 late Sunday night.

Cain was from Perryville and police say Johnson has no fixed address.

Johnson is being charged with first- and second-degree murder and the use of a handgun in the commission of a felony.

Johnson was arrested at the motel after a brief standoff.
