GBMC To Hold MRSA Forum

BALTIMORE (WJZ) ― The deadly bacterial infection MRSA has been a recent health concern for the state of Maryland.

On Tuesday, March 11, from 6 - 7:30pm, GBMC will host a forum to discuss the dangers, and how to prevent, MRSA.

"Facts vs. Fiction" will discuss why there is such a concern about MRSA today as well as the differences between the form you can contract publically and the form that goes around in hospitals, and standard precautions.

It will also include discussion on how to cut down on the spread of MRSA in locker rooms and sports leagues.

The forum will be held in the Virginia Kennedy Dining Room on the 5th floor.
