Man In Custody After Body Found In Trunk Of Car

NORTH EAST, Md. (AP) ―

Maryland State Police say a Cecil County man is in custody in Bucks County, Pa., where he was arrested after the discovery of a body in the trunk of his car.

Once he is returned to Maryland, police say 54-year-old Michal Tuminski will face murder, manslaughter and assault charges in the death of a man believed to be his roommate.

According to police, Tuminski and the roommate were day laborers who had moved to an apartment in North East about four- to six weeks ago. Court documents identify the dead man as 45-year-old Slawek Grobowski.

Police say the two men were involved in a fight on Sunday. Sometime later, Tuminski noticed the victim was deceased. He allegedly drove the body Monday to his brother's home in Morrisville, Pa, and police say the brother contacted local authorities.
