Phelps Serves As Ravens' Honorary Captain

BALTIMORE (AP) ―

Michael Phelps served as an honorary team captain during the coin toss before the Ravens' game against the Tennessee Titans at M&T Bank Stadium.

Phelps wore a No. 8 Ravens jersey referencing his gold medal count at the Olympics.

He joined defensive tackle Haloti Ngata and left guard Ben Grubbs at midfield for the coin toss.

In August, thousands of Ravens fans watched Phelps break Mark Spitz's 36-year-old record of seven golds in one Olympics on M&T Bank Stadium's big screen after a preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings.
