Upper Shore Medevac Helicopter Resumes Service
CENTREVILLE, Md. (AP) ―
Maryland State Police have resumed Medevac helicopter service in six of eight sections of the state since last month's Medevac crash.
State police resumed helicopter operations for the Upper Shore in Centreville shortly before 3 p.m. Monday.
Helicopter flights already had resumed in Montgomery County, Baltimore, Cumberland, St. Mary's and Salisbury.
State police say a seventh section may resume service by mid-week.
Two sections resumed operations within days of the accident that killed four and seriously injured a fifth person about three weeks ago. The others resumed after tests performed as a safety precaution.
