Baltimore Marathon Runner Dies

BALTIMORE (WJZ) ― A participant in the ninth annual Baltimore Marathon has died.

Officials say the runner collapsed at approximately 11:20 a.m. Saturday. He was rushed to nearby Union Memorial Hospital, where physicians were unable to revive him.

He was pronounced dead at 1:11 pm.  An autopsy by the medical examiner's office is pending.
