3 Md. Teams In Action Saturday In Lacrosse Tourney

Quarterfinal action in the NCAA Division I Lacrosse tournament begins Saturday at the Naval Academy.

All three surviving Maryland teams will be in action. In Game 1, No. 7 seed Maryland will face No. 2 seed Virginia at noon. Then the unseeded Midshipmen will attempt an upset on their home field against No. 5 seed Johns Hopkins.

The other quarterfinal games will be played Sunday at Cornell University. Top-seeded Duke faces Ohio State and No. 3 seed Syracuse faces No. 6 seed Notre Dame.
