Family, Friends & Fans Say Goodbye To DJ K-Swift

K-Swift died after diving into her pool and breaking her neck.
They came by the thousands. Fans, friends and family members all gathered together to say goodbye to a pioneer in hip hop music.
Weijia Jiang reports Khia Edgerton better known as K-Swift is now without a doubt a legend.
"K-Swift was a Baltimore icon. Every time I heard her on the radio, I was like 'wow,'" said a fan.
Inside the Fine Arts Center of Morgan State University, tears were flowing and hands were squeezing others tightly.
Despite the heartache, the joy K-Swift brought to the world resounded in the atmosphere.
"I don't want to dwell. I want everyone to get this is a celebration for Swift's life you know," said a fellow DJ.
K-Swift rocked 92Q since she was just 10-years-old. DJ Neke Howse discovered her talent.
"I didn't look at her as K-Swift. I didn't look at her as a sister. Honestly, honestly she was my daughter in the radio industry. That's my baby, and I just wanted to say 'I love you baby,'" said Howse.
It was raw talent that catapulted K-Swift into the arena of mixing, usually reserved for males.
But several original pieces and home videos show K-Swift, "the Club Queen," played just as hard.
She brought thousands of club goers the latest music and became a ring leader for female mixers nationwide.
Her work came to a halt at just 29-years-old.
In what police call an accident, K-Swift drowned at her pool after taking a dive that broke her neck.
But as shown by the crowds Saturday, the impact of that work will last forever, well after the horse drawn carriage took her to rest.
Governor Martin O'Malley also attended the funeral. He presented her family with a proclamation to honor K-Swift.
