Benson Decision Looms For Orioles

BALTIMORE (AP) ― Pitcher Kris Benson's future with the Orioles could be decided in a matter of days.

The team has until ten days after the end of the World Series to exercise an option for next season.

Benson underwent shoulder surgery this year that kept him out of action for the entire season.

If the team does not pick up his option, Benson would become a free agent.
