Police have charged a man with kidnapping after forcing a woman into his car in Millersville.
Charles Anthony Beall, 20, was at the Wawa located on the 8300-block of Veterans Highway when he was seen pushing a female into the car and throwing a 7-month-old infant into the back of the vehicle. The woman was heard screaming inside the car.
The vehicle was seen traveling south on Jumpers Hole Road and officers stopped the vehicle shortly after it turned west onto East West Boulevard.
The vehicle continued on East West Boulevard until it struck a curb at the intersection of Veterans Highway.
The suspect then fled on foot from the scene of the accident, but was quickly apprehended by officers.
Beall was charged with kidnapping, abduction, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and numerous traffic violations.
