Md. Teens Go Crazy Over Jonas Brothers
BALTIMORE (WJZ) ―
They're one of the hottest acts around, but you may have never heard their music, that is unless you have a teenager.
Kai Jackson reports the Jonas Brothers made millions of dollars last year and Wednesday night they were in Baltimore. Fans started lining up at 6:30 a.m.
Two girls in Perry Hall are self-proclaimed Jonas junkies.
"We're going to scream!" Hannah, 9, and Hayley Freund, 7, said.
Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas make up the wholesome teen sensation.
"What better role model than people who pray before each concert? And they profess this on national TV. They wear purity rings. For two girls that I have, it's a wonderful way to grow up, to explain that to them," their mother Kimberly Freund said.
"It's when you date girls, you don't have, you know, bad things with them," Hannah said, describing the purity ring.
The girls are taking a limo to the concert with 11 of their girlfriends.
"We're all going to be holding a poster, and on the back of Hayley's it's going to say 'Joe, blow me a kiss!' and mine's going to say 'Nick, throw me your tie!'" Hannah said.
The Jonas Brothers earned $12 million in 2007 and donated 10% to charity.
