Get a job -- that's what hundreds were trying to do in Timonium Monday.
Sally Thorner reports the University of Phoenix/Maryland teamed up with the National Career Fair to get Marylanders working again.
Openings were listed for job hunters, but who knew there were any openings these days, especially in the car business.
"Yes, we're definitely hiring," said Robyn Schuerholz, Mile One.
It was music to the ears of the job seekers at Monday's job fair, but organizer Kathleen Hebbel says you need to do more than just show up.
"Take any opportunity to get in front of potential employers," said Hebbel, University of Phoenix.
Potential employers include Mile One Automotive, Pre-Paid Legal Services, the University of Phoenix and the Secret Service.
Ari Ross, 26, already has a job, but it's in financial services, which is not the most secure field these days. He's now exploring his options.
"There's a lot out there," said Ross. "There's a lot to be had."
