Police Seek Suspect Who Fired At Md. Jiffy Lube
ELKRIDGE, Md. (AP) ―
Howard County police are searching for a gunman who tried to hold up a Jiffy Lube station in Elkridge and fired a shot as employees ran.
Police say the man entered the station Wednesday evening and pointed a gun at a worker, demanding money. The employee ran away through a back door.
The man then followed other employees who fled the station and ran into the nearby woods. Police say the man fired a single shot, but no one was injured.
Ten people were working at the time of the attempted robbery.
