Jenna Bush & Henry Hager Are Moving To Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WJZ) ―
First daughter Jenna Bush and her new husband will soon be calling Charm City home.
Jessica Kartalija reports the couple tied the knot Saturday night in Texas, and they're now ready to move to the city's trendy Federal Hill neighborhood.
Jenna Bush is officially a married woman. She married her long-time boyfriend, Henry Hager, at her parents' ranch in Crawford, Texas. But now she's going from the White House to a rowhouse.
Soon, Jenna and Henry will call Baltimore City's Federal Hill home.
The couple bought a two-story, 128-year-old rowhouse for $440,000. They'll be within walking distance to the neighborhood hot spots like Cross Street Market and the well-known Republican bar, The Ropewalk.
"I think it will be good for the neighborhood. We are as happy to have her here as we are to have anybody else," said Donnie Fair.
In a city where parking can be a pain, neighbors will be happy to know they won't be taking up extra parking spots. Their 2,000 square foot home has a garage in the back.
"The question remains what's the impact going to be for the security detail?" Fair said.
It's still unclear as to when the couple will move in.
Jenna has said she wants to return to teaching. Her husband has accepted a job with Constellation Energy, the parent company to BGE.
