Authorities Probe Death Of Hurlock Infant

HURLOCK, Md. (AP) ― Authorities in Dorchester County are investigating the death of an infant who was found unresponsive on Saturday morning.

The county sheriff's office says deputies and paramedics were dispatched to Skinners Run Road in Hurlock where the one-month-old girl was found unresponsive.

The infant was transported to Dorchester General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The state Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy.
