2 Killed In Quadruple Hyattsville Shooting

HYATTSVILLE, Md. (WJZ/AP) ―

Police say two people have died in a quadruple shooting in Hyattsville.

Prince George's County police say officers were called to Manorwood Drive just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday for the report of gunshots.

Mary Bubala reports investigators believe three suspects robbed a group of men, then shot four of them before escaping in a dark-colored sedan.

The names of the victims haven't been released, pending notification of their families. Police Corporal Arvel Lewis says the two injured men remain in the hospital. He says one of the men is in critical condition and the other is in stable condition.

Police say they are investigating whether the shooting is gang-related, and officers knocked on doors late Wednesday to interview neighbors.
