Police Find Dead Man Inside Home After Dispute
CLINTON, Md. (AP) ―
Prince George's County police say a man has been found dead inside a Clinton home following a domestic dispute that blocked students' access to a nearby school.
Spokesman Mike Rodriguez says authorities were called to Lucky Lure Drive about 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
After arriving, Rodriguez says an injured woman ran from the home and told police that a man inside had said he would hurt himself.
The woman was taken to a hospital. Her relationship to the man is unknown.
Police barricaded the area around the home and stood guard for hours while emergency workers were called to assist.
At noon, police entered the home through an unlocked door and found the man's body. He hasn't been identified.
Rodriguez says the James Ryder Randall Elementary School was closed due to the barricade.
