Harford Co. Deputies Investigate Perryman Slaying
PERRYMAN, Md. (AP) ―
Harford County authorities say an Edgewood man has died after he was shot near Perryman and the car driving him to the hospital crashed.
The Harford County Sheriff's Department received reports of shots fired about 2 a.m. at Perrywood Drive and Perrywood Court.
Witnesses told investigators that they heard men arguing and then gunshots.
Two people went outside and found Yamar Martin with a gunshot to the chest. They put Martin in their car and were driving to Harford Memorial Hospital when they crashed near Havre de Grace on Route 40.
Martin, 26, was taken to Shock Trauma, where authorities say he died.
