Westbound I-70 Closed Near Hancock After Crash
HANCOCK, Md. (AP) ―
Maryland State Police say westbound Interstate 70 is closed just east of Hancock after a crash involving a tractor trailer.
Police say westbound lanes of the highway will be closed Friday morning for an unknown period of time.
Police say the tractor trailer hauling general merchandise overturned in the accident. However, police say there were no injuries that required hospitalization.
Westbound traffic can take exit 3 and travel through Hancock and reenter I-70 at Route 522 from Hancock.
