Ron Stach became known as "The Goof on the Roof" and attracted media attention by pledging not to come down from the roof of a Baltimore bar until his beloved Ravens ended a losing streak.
Kelly Stach of Dundalk asks rhetorically, "What kind of an idiot goes on TV with an outstanding warrant?" She's talking about her ex-husband, Ron.
Ms. Stach spoke Tuesday in Towson, the site of a hearing in which Ron Stach was ordered to pay $750 or remain in jail for a year for failing to pay $43,000 in child support over 18 years.
During December, Stach became known as "The Goof on the Roof" and attracted media attention by pledging not to come down from the roof of a Baltimore bar until his beloved Ravens ended a losing streak.
Kelly Stach saw her ex on television and told Baltimore police about his outstanding Baltimore County warrant.
Ron Stach promised at the hearing he would straighten up, but Kelly isn't convinced. She says state laws aren't tough enough on child-support violators.
