6 Hospitalized After Glen Burnie Fire

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) ― Six people, including three children, have been hospitalized after a fire in Glen Burnie. 

A two-year-old male was taken to Johns Hopkins Pediatric with serious, possibly life threatening injuries.  An eight-year-old girl and a nine-year-old girl were also taken to Johns Hopkins Pediatric.  A 38-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were taken to Harbor; both have minor injuries.  A 19-year-old woman was taken to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center with serious, non-life threatening injuries.

The fire, which occurred at the Willows Apartment at 129 Warwickshire Lane, was an accident, according to an initial investigation.  Officials said there was a pot of food on the stove.

Damage estimates have not been released.
