Gas Prices Creep Closer To $4 Mark

BALTIMORE (WJZ) ― Prices at the pump soared to a new record high $3.50 for a gallon of regular.

Kai Jackson reports prices nationwide jumped more than a nickel over the weekend to that high of $3.50.

Here in Maryland, one station in Bethesda is charging more than $4 a gallon for supreme, and you'll likely see $4 for regular very soon.

The Energy Department is predicting prices will be more than $3.60 this summer and could reach $4.

Last month in Maryland, we were paying an average of $3.25 a gallon for regular. That same gallon cost $3.47 Monday.
