Frederick School Flooded By Vandals
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) ―
Frederick County school officials say classes will resume as scheduled Monday at Thomas Johnson High School, where the west wing was flooded by vandals.
School system spokeswoman Marita Loose says a maintenance worker found about an inch of water in the building early Monday morning.
Frederick Police say someone forced their way into the building, took some items and intentionally broke a water line on the second floor.
Police believe the burglary occurred between 11 a.m. Sunday and 5:30 a.m. Monday. Investigators are examining surveillance video recordings.
