Car Hits Gas Pump, Causes Small Fire

FREELAND, Md. (WJZ) ― Officials are trying to figure out how a car ended up hitting a gas island in Freeland.

It happened around 2 p.m. at the Prettyboy Market in the 20200-block of Middletown Road in northern Baltimore County.

Officials say the car hit a gas pump and a fire erupted.  The fire was quickly put out.

The driver of the car received minor injuries.  No one else was hurt.
