Woman Killed In Dundalk Fire

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) ― An elderly woman is dead after a fire in a trailer community.  It happened late Saturday night in Dundalk.

Neighbors reported hearing explosions coming from a trailer.

Baltimore County firefighters responded and learned someone was trapped inside the home.  They tried to rescue an older woman, but it was too late to save her.

Fire officials say this blaze was especially difficult to put out.

"The fire was blowing out the windows and when we have a fire in an aluminum structure, it's difficult," said Lt. John Cromwell.

Fire officials have not yet released the woman's name.

The fire is under investigation.
