Frederick Man Arrested In Barn Fire
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) ―
Deputy State Fire Marshals have arrested a Frederick man for setting fire to a barn.
Phillip Page, 24, was arrested Thursday in Boonsboro after a two-month investigation.
The pre-dawn fire May 24 caused more than $500,000 in damage to the barn in the 4800-block of Ballenger Creek Pike.
Authorities say Page has also been charged in several other incidents in that area, including damage to a storage shed and a mail box. He's charged with two counts of second-degree arson, attempted arson, malicious burning, burglary, and malicious destruction of property.
