FedEx Ground To Expand Hagerstown Building
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) ―
The Hagerstown Economic Development Commission says FedEx Ground will build a 120,000-square-foot addition to its hub in Hagerstown.
The addition to the 360,000 square-foot building that opened in 2005 is expected to be finished by next fall.
The hub will be able to process 37,500 packages per hour, as opposed to the current 22,500 packages per hour.
The $25 million project is expected to add 250 jobs to the current work force of 600 employees and independent contractors.
