Gang Connection May Be Behind Fatal Stabbing

RIVERDALE, Md. (AP) ―

Police believe the fatal stabbing of a student from a Prince George's County high school may be gang related.

Police say 15-year-old Guillermo Enrique Medina was stabbed in the chest Wednesday walking from Parkdale High School.

He allegedly exchanged words with someone in a car who approached him near the school in Riverdale.

Friends describe Medina as friendly and respectful.

Officers arrested 18-year-old Walter Izaguirre Henrique on Wednesday on an unrelated charge.

He was charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond.

Police are still looking for his brother, 18-year-old Rony Antonio Izaguirre Henrique, who is charged in an arrest warrant with first-degree murder.
