COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) ―
Howard County police have arrested a man in the stabbings of two people over the weekend in Columbia.
Gregory Imes, 26, of no fixed address was arrested in a fast-food restaurant in Laurel without incident.
He is charged with attempted first-degree murder in attacks on 51-year-old Reginald Crudup and 51-year-old Maria Elana Cokley.
Police say Imes broke into the victims' Columbia home early Saturday, stabbed them in their bedroom and fled.
The victims were taken to Shock Trauma in critical condition.
