2 Stabbed In Columbia Home; Police Seek Suspect
COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) ―
Howard County police are looking for a man believed responsible for a double stabbing that left two people in critical condition.
Police say 26-year-old Gregory Imes is wanted for attempted first-degree murder. He's believed to be the man who broke into a Columbia home early Saturday morning and stabbed the two residents, Reginald Crudup and Maria Elana Cokely. Both victims are 51 years old and were taken to Shock Trauma in critical condition.
Imes is a former friend of a family member of the victims.
Police say Imes broke in through a sliding glass door, attacked Crudup and Cokely, and fled. The knife was left at the scene.
