Colombian Man Wins Delaware Marathon

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) ―

A man from Bogota, Colombia, won the Delaware Marathon in two hours, 33 minutes and 35 seconds.

Jorge Real, a resident of Bogota, Colombia, currently living in Elmhurst, New York, won the Christiana Care Health System Delaware Marathon.

Eric Makovsky, 35, of Washington D.C., came in second two hours, 40 minutes and 20 seconds and 34-year-old Kevin Beugless, of Media, Pennsylvania, came in third in two hours, 40 minutes and 30 seconds.

Jaclyn Truncellito, 25, of Baltimore was women's champion in three hours, seven minutes and 17 seconds.

The event included a 10-mile race and four-person marathon relay and involved more than 1,300 runners overall. About 550 people participated in the marathon.
