1 Dead After Rt. 50 Crash In Queen Anne's County
QUEENSTOWN, Md. (AP) ―
State police say one person is dead after a crash on Route 50 in Queen Anne's County.
The crash occurred around 8 a.m. Friday on eastbound Route 50 near Route 213 in Queenstown.
State police Sgt. Tim Riggleman at the Centreville barracks says one person was killed in the crash and there were multiple injured people.
State Highway spokeswoman Kellie Boulware says only one westbound lane was open for hour while the two vehicle crash was investigated, causing backups throughout the area. By 11:30 a.m., she says at least one lane had reopened in each direction.
