BALTIMORE (WJZ/AP) ― Baltimore County police have identified the body of a man found Thanksgiving Day in Gunpowder Falls State Park.

They say the man is David Alan Heller, 38, of Northeast Baltimore.

Bill Toohey, a Baltimore County police spokesman, said investigators suspect Heller committed suicide.

Heller was last seen Oct. 23. He was reported missing on Nov. 18.

About noon Thursday, a man walking with his two young sons found Heller's body partly covered by a tarp in the woods off Belair Road, about a mile north of Forge Road.

Authorities later found two empty helium tanks, their valves open and tubes leading underneath the sheet, Toohey said.
