2 Identified In Double Fatal Crash On BW Parkway

GREENBELT, Md. (AP) ―

Authorities have identified both men killed in a double fatal crash Thursday morning on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

Leroy Tyler, 60, of Washington was driving a Mitsubishi Laser in the crash before he was killed, and 48-year-old Ronald Wayne Meader of Severn, who was operating a motorcycle, was also killed.

The multi-vehicle crash Thursday morning occurred when a sedan crossed the median into the southbound lanes shortly after 5 a.m. near Powder Mill Road. Several vehicles, including a motorcycle, were involved in the accident.

The parkway was shut down until about 10:30 a.m.
