Multi-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Route 170

ODENTON, Md. (WJZ) ― A serious accident injures two people in Odenton, Anne Arundel County Monday evening.

Captain Mike Perry reports it happened on Route 170 just north of Route 32.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision that caused one of the vehicles to overturn.

Rescuers had to pull one person from the overturned vehicle.
 
Two people were flown to Shock Trauma with serious injuries.

Route 170 had to be closed in both directions. Police are on the scene investigating the crash.
