Accident Kills 1 In Anne Arundel County

One person was killed in an accident Friday on Route 10 in Anne Arundel County.

Anne Arundel County officials are investigating a fatal accident involving three vehicles.
Captain Mike Perry reports it happened just after noon on southbound Route 10.
Fire officials say one vehicle was completely engulfed in flames. One person died in that vehicle.
Six others from the two other vehicles were injured in the accident. Five suffered minor injuries and were taken to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center. The final person was flown to Shock Trauma.
Route 10 is currently closed. Traffic is being diverted near Furnace Branch Road.
