Crane Lift Closes Roads In Downtown Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) ― Some roads are closed in downtown Baltimore, due to a crane lift operation at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel.

A spokesperson with the Department of Public Works tells Eyewitness News the following roads are closed until about 10:30 p.m. Saturday:

  • Lombard at Gay
  • Guilford at Baltimore
South at Lombard has been re-opened.

The Renaissance Hotel says the crane had been lifting air conditioning units onto the top of the office tower connected to the building.

That crane is now being dismantled.
