Police in Cecil County continue to hunt for a man wanted for murdering a teenager.
Suzanne Collins reports the murder took place in Port Deposit.
Craig Gilley, 17, was stabbed to death by a man police say he didn't even know. According to witnesses, he came upon an argument, and he tried to intercede. It was an argument between the suspect and a teenage girl.
Police have put out a warrant for 39-year-old Craigg Wallace, also known as Chicken.
He's wanted for stabbing Gilley on Dec. 20 at the School House Apartments.
When the suspect was chased by a trooper that night, he abandoned his car and fled on foot. Now the victim's mother and stepfather want Wallace captured.
"He's a danger to anybody else, everybody else walking in the street right now. I mean he killed a child, a 17-year-old boy," said Nicole Gilley-Stumpf, mother of victim.
"We just need to get this gentleman caught as soon as possible, so he can go through the process of the court system, to get some closure, as much closure as we're going to be able to get from this situation," said Keith Stumpf, stepfather of victim.
The victim lives in Rising Sun. His mother dropped him off in Port Deposit to visit friends who live there.
It is believed that's when he came upon the argument, and his mother received the painful call.
If you know the whereabouts of Craigg Wallace, you are asked to call police.
