Man Gets 15 Years In Conspiracy To Rob Drug Dealer

BALTIMORE (AP) ―

A 26-year-old Baltimore man was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in federal prison for conspiring to rob a drug dealer of several kilograms of cocaine being stored in a city hotel room.

The Maryland U.S. attorney's office says Terrance Gray pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Prosecutors say Gray admitted to planning the robbery with friends 30-year-old Rahsean Holmes of Georgia and 30-year-old Antoine Boyce of Baltimore in August 2007.

Holmes and Boyce were convicted on charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, possession of drugs and possession of illegal firearms and are scheduled to be sentenced in August.

Prosecutors say the plan to rob the drug dealer was foiled because the trio was working with a fourth man who was also a police informant. Police officers confronted the men outside the hotel.
