Man Struck And Killed By School Bus

CARNEY, Md. (WJZ) ― A man was struck and killed by a school bus Baltimore County. 

Captain Mike Perry reports the accident occurred at Harford Road in Carney around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The man, who was in his 20s, was been taken to Franklin Square Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

It appears as though the man walked out in front of the road.  It may have been pedestrian error.  The bus had been coming from Carney Elementary School and one child was still on board.

The bus stopped immediately and police say neither the driver nor the student aboard the bus were injured.
