Md. Man Charged After Father Found Stabbed On Road
SALISBURY, Md. (AP) ―
A 24-year-old Salisbury man has been charged after his father was found stabbed on the side of the road.
Wicomico County Sheriff's deputies responded early Monday to a report of two people fighting in the road on Ocean Gateway and found the 61-year-old man lying on the shoulder, bleeding from cuts to his head and two stab wounds to the chest. Police say Jeremy Dix was with his father when officers arrived.
Sgt. Carsten Wendlant of the Wicomico Bureau of Investigations says the assault began in a home and ended on the road.
Dix is charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault and other related charges.
