Police Investigate Fatal Carroll County Crash

WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) ―

State Police say a Hampstead man was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer on Route 31 in Westminster.

Ryan Healy, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at the intersection of Route 31 and Windsor Drive.

Troopers say Healy was driving a Toyota Corolla westbound on Route 31 Friday shortly before 10 a.m. when his car crossed the double yellow line.

It hit a tractor trailer driven by 53-year-old Norwood Tatum Jr. of Littlestown, Pa.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
