Car Shooting Kills 1, Injures 5

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) ― Prince George's County police have released the name of the Fort Washington man who was killed in a shooting in District Heights.

Ronaldo Butler, 19, is the county's first homicide victim of the new year.

He was fatally wounded when a gunman fired into a car Saturday near Pennslyvania Avenue and Walters Lane. A man and a woman inside the car were wounded in the shooting, and police say three other people in the car were injured when it crashed near Silver Hill Road.

Police say they have no suspects and know of no motive for the shooting.
