Wicomico Police: 2 Found Dead At Campground

DELMAR, Md. (AP) ― The Wicomico County Bureau of Investigation is trying to find out how a man and woman died after their bodies were found at a Delmar campground.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office was asked Tuesday night to check on two people camping at the Woodlawn Campground in Delmar.

When the deputy arrived, he found a man and woman who may have been dead for several days.

The Wicomico Bureau says authorities don't know yet if foul play was involved because the bodies had begun decomposing and that can hide wounds or trauma.

Authorities are still trying to confirm the identities of the man and woman and must notify their families. Investigators believe they were living at the campground where many travelers live.
