Package Found At Hotel Is Found To Be Harmless

TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) ―

A suspicious package was reported at the Sheraton Hotel near Dulaney Valley Rd. and Fairmount Ave Monday afternoon, but it turned out to be harmless.

Baltimore County Police say the suspicious package was found in the lobby around 12:30 p.m.  They say a man called to say it was a bomb.

Captain Mike Perry reports the hotel was evacuated, but no major roads were closed.  The package was later found to be harmless.
