Police Identify Man Found In Harbor

BALTIMORE (WJZ) ―

Police have identified the body found in the Baltimore Harbor.

Richard Sher reports Ankush Gupta, 22, from Montgomery County was found Wednesday morning.

Police say Gupta was walking with friends along the promenade of the Inner Harbor around 2 a.m. 

His friends say Gupta broke off from the group.  Later, the three friends say they heard a scream and a splash.

They called 911 after not locating their friend.

Baltimore City Fire Department divers later find Gupta in the water, but he was already dead.

The incident is under investigation.
