Police Investigate Body Found On Roadway

ACCOKEEK, Md. (AP) ― Police say a pedestrian has been struck and killed on Indian Head Highway in Accokeek.

Prince George's County police responded to the scene before 6 a.m. Thursday for a report of someone lying on the highway near Berry Road. The male victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators say the victim appears to have been struck by a vehicle, which left the scene of the accident.
