Some Hampden streets are back open after a barricade situation.

Don Scott reports Baltimore City Police were on the scene of a barricade situation in the 3600-block of Paine Street.

They say a man was held up inside his home. Witnesses reported that the man had a knife. Authorities told Eyewitness News officers had witnessed a man wielding some sort of weapon possibly a machete.

Officers took the man into custody without incident.
