BALTIMORE (WJZ) ―
If you love to eat, this is what you've been waiting for. Baltimore's Summer Restaurant Week begins in a few days.
Ron Matz reports on the delicious deals waiting at your table.
Pour the wine and make your reservations early. Baltimore's third Summer Restaurant Week is just a few days away.
Food lovers can get a three-course meal for just $30.08.
From the trendy Harbor East, to Mount Vernon, to Little Italy and beyond, it's a fabulous feast for foodies.
"It started downtown at the Inner Harbor and then it moved out to Mount Vernon and to all the neighborhoods. It's growing like gangbusters and we're happy about it," said Tom Noonan, president of the Baltimore Area and Convention Visitors Association.
It's so busy at Oceanaire Seafood Room, they're already planning another week.
"There's a lot of interest and excitement. With gas prices rising and the cost of food going up, it's great to see that all the restaurants can get together and provide a great deal for all the locals in Baltimore. We've already extended it to a second week through Aug. 10," said Nate Beachler, the general manager of Oceanaire Seafood Room.
They're stirring it up at Ixia on North Charles Street, the filet of salmon is just part of their Restaurant Week menu.
For Baltimore food lovers this will be the biggest summer week yet, with more than 100 restaurants taking part.
The fun runs July 26 - Aug 3.
